Automotive Hoses and Belts

Your hoses and belts are constantly working to keep your vehicles moving. Let Dow’s technology work hard for them – and improve your sustainability profile at the same time.

Our silicone-powered rubber solutions are uniquely formulated with a reduced environmental footprint and help ensure essential components like turbocharger hoses provide premium oil/fuel permeation resistance and withstand wear-and-tear in even the most extreme conditions.

Enhancing product sustainability to address rubber industry trends

EPDM Rubber helps ensure applications like automotive belts can withstand extreme conditions and wear-and-tear. NORDEL™ EPDM has a significantly lower environmental impact than other solutions, requiring 24% less cumulative energy demand in production. This is a direct result of improvements in manufacturing process efficiency, which help reduce emissions output.
