Kathleen C. Fothergill Corporate Director, Investor Relations

Kathleen C. Fothergill, corporate director of Investor Relations reports to Geoffery E. Merszei, executive vice president and chief financial officer. She is responsible for helping position Dow Stock as a profitable long-term investment by providing an interface between Dow and the investment community.

Fothergill joined Dow in 1973 as a program designer in Business Information Services.  She was named manager of Personnel Data Systems in 1975, and in 1977 moved to Computer Services and later to Business Operations Planning. In 1981, she was named an economic analyst in the Functional Products and Systems Department. She became a financial evaluator in the U.S. Area Treasury Department in 1983 and manager of Liability Origination in the U.S. Area Treasury Department in 1985 before being appointed assistant treasurer of Dow Canada in 1989. Fothergill became manager of Investor Relations in 1993 and manager of Mergers and Acquisitions in 1997. She assumed her current role in 2000.

Fothergill has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Emmanuel College in Massachusetts.
