In response, Dow developed ENGAGE™ REN Polyolefin Elastomers (POE) produced using bio-circular raw materials, part of our Ecolibrium™ technology. These bio-circular polyolefin elastomers can help improve sustainability without compromising on performance. Certified on a mass balance basis by the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC).
Produced using renewable energy sources and bio-circular raw materials, ENGAGE™ REN POEs help to reduce products’ carbon footprint.
ENGAGE™ REN POEs provide drop-in performance, offering the same, outstanding properties as the rest of our ENGAGE™ POEs.
Our bio-circular raw materials leverage other industry bio-residues or waste—such as, used cooking oil or corn stover—meaning there is no food or feed competition.
