Cement render and stucco are truly global technologies, forming the basis of construction finishes the world over – with various substrates, indoor and outdoor uses, choices of textured or non-textured finish, as well as handling color and cladding options on top of the render. They often work alongside skim coats, which offer a smooth final layer to substrates that may not have the desired aesthetic quality.

DOW™ Latex Powder (DLP) 211
This product improves workability and tensile and flexural strength. It offers enhanced adhesion, resistance to impact and abrasion, and reduces crack formation. It is a result of spray-drying an aqueous vinyl acetate-ethylene-VeoVa-copolymer dispersion.
DOW™ Latex Powder (DLP) 212
This product is a free-flowing white powder resulting from spray-drying an aqueous vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer dispersion. It offers resistance to impact and abrasion, while improving workability and adhesive and flexural strength.
DOW™ Latex Powders (DLP) 2000
This product suits building products exposed to thermal or mechanical stress. It reduces crack formation, improves transversal deformation, and offers enhanced tensile, compression and flexural strength. It results from spray-drying an aqueous vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer dispersion.
DOW™ Latex Powders (DLP) 2141
Offering flexibility and excellent adhesion even to difficult substrates, this product reduces capillary water absorption. It also offers impact resistance to reduce the crack formation in thin-layer applications. Its hydrophobic properties are suited to cement-based plaster and grouts.
DOWSIL™ Silicones
When used as admixtures, surface treatments and in-situ treatments, silanes, siloxanes and resins from Dow have a history of offering water repellency and enhanced protection for a variety of key construction materials. The range of proven and highly effective silicon-based hydrophobic powders are rapidly dispersible in water and offer excellent reduction of water ingress.

DOWSIL™ GP SHP 50
This silicone was developed to offer the performance of a liquid silicon-based hydrophobic material in dry delivery systems which can be used in cementitious-based drymix formulations. It makes cement-based materials more hydrophobic.
DOWSIL™ GP SHP 60 Plus
Developed to offer the performance of a liquid silicon-based hydrophobic material in dry delivery systems, this product is a formulation containing a finely dispersed silicon-based active. This product protects the substrate from liquid water ingress.
