It is a modified hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC). WALOCEL™ MKW 20000 PP 30 Cellulose Ether was developed for cement spray plaster applications like one or two coat cement-based plaster and cement based lightweight plaster. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.
