Propylene

A liquefied gas comprised of at least 92% Propylene (C3H6). Available in polymer grade (>99.5% purity) and chemical grades (>92% purity). Dow is a leading producer of propylene, a raw material used to produce polypropylene, acrylonitrile, propylene oxide, various alcohols, cumene and acrylic acid. These materials are used to manufacture items that consumers use or benefit from every day. The largest use of propylene is in the production of polypropylene. CAS #: 115-07-1
