This product is designed to enhance the quality and processing characteristics of cement-based materials such as cement-based tile adhesives and the cementitious parts of an exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS Compatible with all conventional mineral and organic binders, this product adds excellent open time, slip resistance, impact resistance, adhesion and shear strength. It also enhances workability and water retention. The selected particle size distribution offers quick, lump-free dissolution. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.
