Rotomolding
Whether it’s paddling in a kayak, slipping down the slide, or pedaling a toy car, we all love to play. And when your toys are made with RESILITY™ Innovative Rotomolding Resins, you can play harder for longer.
Our versatile resins do more than help you play. You might find them in blow-molded tires, athletic surfaces, bottle caps, waste receptacles, coolers, and so much more. No matter what form our resins take, you can count on the finished product to be durable and attractive.
Tough against rough and repeated use
Rotomolded products need to be tough against rough and repeated use and the forces of nature. That’s why we created RESILITY™ Polyethylene Resins.
Our resins have:
The ARM Impact Mean Failure Energy is greater than 230 ft.-lbs, as compared to 180 ft.-lbs with typical medium density polyethylene (MDPE).
Products made with RESILITY™ Resins are imbued with a UV20+ rating.
Our resins are 28-times more flexible than typical MDPE.
Both the static and kinetic coefficients of friction are over four-times higher than typical MDPE.
RESILITY™ Polyethylene Resins
Up to 30% wider processing windows with flexibility to optimize temperatures and cycle times creates the potential for:
- Exceptional stability
- Increased productivity
- Reduced scrap rates
- Lower overall production costs
- Ability to blend MDPE with PE
RESILITY™ Polyethylene Resins can improve your process even more with:
- Faster bubble removal
- Improved low-temperature impact performance
- Reduced plate out to help minimize downtime
- Ambient pulverization capabilities
The sun isn’t a force to be reckoned with
The sun isn’t a force to be reckoned with — its intense rays deteriorate the bright and vivid colors that we enjoy. With a UV20+ rating, RESILITY™ Polyethylene Resins show their true colors for longer.
Rotomolded products are built to withstand nature, but wouldn’t it be nice for them to be soft, too? Not only is RESILITY™ MDPE less dense, but it’s also nearly half the Shore D Hardness of typical MDPE.
We’re committed to reducing our footprint
Many rotomolding creations put us in nature. We’re committed to reducing our footprint so future generations can continue to get outside and play.
Here’s how we’re working toward a more circular economy:
- Staying out of landfills. Long-term durability and color fastness helps products made with RESILITY™ Resins last for generations.
- Creating opportunities for downgauging. The inherent strength and toughness of these PE-based materials can help reduce material usage, part weight, and transportation costs and emissions.
- Increasing incorporation of regrind. Our polymer quality and consistency have the potential to enhance sustainability and lower total costs.
- Designing for recyclability. Products molded with RESILITY™ Resins can be included in PE recycle streams.
