A solution to this common problem are products that encompass one-part moisture cure grades – a simple, cost-efficient room-temperature processing and one or two-part heat cure solutions that speed processing and accelerate time to market.
Silicone adhesives and sealants from Dow enhance the ease, flexibility and speed of processing operations, reduce the cost of mechanical fastening, improve aesthetics and fill large gaps against vibration or moisture ingress. Our silicone formulations are often solventless, minimizing the need for special storage, handling or ventilation.
Why silicones?
As a class of materials, silicones are especially suited for high-brightness LED designs that require adhesives and sealants to maintain strong bonds at temperatures as high as 150°C.
