Dow offers high-performing additives and solutions including polymers, antifoams, amines and surfactants to help brand owners develop high performing products that consumers can count on. Dow enables brand owners to develop differentiated products with dynamic ingredients for a wide range of household appliances.
Boost cleaning power
To provide superior cleaning in liquid laundry products, Dow offers innovative, biodegradable surfactants such as TERGITOL™ 15-S-9 Surfactant that are especially effective at removing greasy, fatty soils and sebum.
Control foam
To address excessive foaming and potential machine malfunction, especially in high-efficiency appliances, Dow offers effective solutions such as DOWSIL™ AF-8017 Antifoam to control foam and enhance cleaning.
Offer whitening and brightening
To help keep white fabrics whiter and brighter after multiple washes, Dow has developed ACUSOL™ 460NK and ACUSOL™ 845 Dispersant Polymers that provide excellent anti-greying performance.
Save energy
To meet the need of washing in lower temperatures to help reduce energy and environmental impact, Dow offers specialty non-ionic surfactants such as TERGITOL™ 15-S-9 Surfactant and TERGITOL™ 15-S-7 Surfactant to help achieve this goal.
Achieve texture and suspension
To enable clear formulations with the right texture and suspension of actives and visual cues, Dow has developed innovative rheology modifiers including ACUSOL™ 820, ACUSOL™ 823 Rheology Modifiers, which offer excellent performance across a broad pH range.
Enable two-in-one solutions
To meet consumer desire for multifunctional and efficient two-in-one liquid laundry products, Dow has developed high-performing polymers including SupraCare™ 260 Additive and SupraCare™ 133 Polymer, which provide excellent cleaning, softening, fragrance and compatibility with other ingredients.
Making laundry easier and more convenient
With modern-day time constraints, consumers value products that make laundry fast and easy. Innovative monodose laundry packets, or sometimes referred to as laundry pods, help meet these demands while enabling fresher, whiter and brighter clothing and fabrics. Monodose products also contribute to sustainability with reduced transportation costs, less water use, and greater efficiency.
Dow offers a number of technologies and solutions including surfactants, dispersants, chelants, polymers, antifoams, additives and glycols that help boost the effectiveness and sustainability of monodose laundry products.

Control foam
To help manage excessive foaming which can lead to machine malfunctioning, especially in high-efficiency appliances, Dow offers effective solutions such as DOWSIL™ AF-8017 Antifoam to control foam in main wash cycles.
Increase fabric care benefits
To increase the feel and care of fabrics in monodose formulations, Dow has developed SupraCare™ 133 and SupraCare™ 240 Polymers that offer an improved sensorial profile and softening – while reducing dye transfer so fabrics look better longer.
Enable solubilization
To provide more effective solubilization and greater stability in monodose laundry formulations, Dow offers versatile ingredients like Dipropylene glycol (DPG) and DOWANOL™ DPM Glycol Ether.
Control pH and solubilize
To help achieve the correct pH and desired cleaning results with transparent formulations and product stability, Dow offers amines such as triethanolamine and monoethanolamine.
